A Journey Update

Over the six weeks since my Welcome post, I have discovered even more about myself and my abilities as well as becoming a lot more trusting and optimistic about the future.  I have, for the first time in my life, got a bucket list and for the first time in my life I actually have the first fingers of three and five year plans starting to form in my head.  I finally seem ready to fully embrace life and to start the rest of my life fully embracing me.  I’m excited and ready to be the best me I can be and to say this is who I am and to be proud of me.

I mentioned reading Purpose by Lisa Messenger in my Welcome post.  This is the book which seemed to link all of the other books I read over the year.  It was the book which switched on the light in my soul.  There were, however, another four books which have helped me enormously in the last year in getting to here.  They are:-

I have also, over the last few months especially, spent as much time as possible in nature and have learned to listen to my body and soul more.  I am now supporting great thoughts instead of bad habits (so no more procrastinating lol) and am reading and practising Principle 4 of WE.  This is where I am up to.  I am loving the journey, this moment, where I am and I’m looking forward to the rest of my life more than ever, in some ways, for the first time in my life.
